Welcome to Troop 1523's public website.  Here you have ready access to our calendar, history, scouting links, and general information about our troop.
 
If you are visiting our site because you are looking for a scout troop to join, please take a moment to read About Us.   Boy Scouting is a wonderful opportunity for young men to learn valuable outdoor and personal leadership skills and have fun.  There are many fine scout troops in our area.  We have a great program, and it's getting better every year.

What Sets Us Apart?

We successfully run a truly boy-led troop.  The scouts plan and run all meetings and activities.  The scouters (adults) provide mentoring and support to facilitate the scout's plans. 

We are a very active troop.  If you take a look at our troop history and calendar you will see we participate in a significant event every month.
