Thank you Dr Legler for your years of dedicated service and leadership of our troop.  As Scoutmaster, you were a role model through and through.  The parents of Troop 1523 thank you for your positive influence and guidance of our sons.  The scouts thank you for the leadership opportunities, coaching, adventures, and fun!  Best wishes for your future and we look forward to having you back soon.  Yours in Scouting, Troop 1523.

On behalf of all the Scouts and Scouters who have walked the trails and broken bread with you: thank you for your faith in a Scout led Troop; your patient work with all Scouts, your mentorship of all Scouters; your exceptionally generosity with your time; and your constant modeling of the principles of the Scout Law.

Please express our thanks to Nan, for no Scoutmaster succeeds without the unwavering support of a Great Scoutmaster's wife.

Troop 1523 has been indeed blessed by your stewardship of one of America's most honored roles:  that of Scoutmaster.

YIS,

Harry Dorsey

Mission Accomplished!

The Scouting for Food event on November 13th was a great success.  Troop 1523 collected 1816 lbs of food in approximately one hour!  This was a great community effort that will positively impact the lives of many.  Big thanks to our neighbors for donating the food, Pack 873 for doing a great job of distributing the bags, and all the  scouts, drivers, and adults from Troop 1523 that pulled it all together!
